Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Possession Investigation in Irwin Twp.

IRWIN TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police have released details surrounding an April 18 drug possession investigation in Irwin Township, Venango County.

Police say the incident happened around 8:41 p.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 31.

Isaiah West, 23, of Bethlehem, Pa., was stopped for a vehicle code violation.

An investigation was conducted and police discovered that West was allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Charges are pending lab results.
