Troopers Recover Stolen Pickup Truck Near I-80 in Barkeyville
IRWIN TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Authorities located a stolen pickup truck in Irwin Township on Saturday.
According to Marienville-based State Police, troopers were notified of a stolen 2013 Ford F-150 around 1:10 a.m. on Friday, April 21, in Farmington Township, Clarion County.
Police say the victim reported that her truck was stolen from the driveway area of her residence.
Through the course of this investigation, the victim’s truck was found abandoned and subsequently recovered just north of Interstate 80 near Barkeyville in Irwin Township, Venango County on Saturday, April 22.
PSP Franklin aided in the recovery, along with Troop E Forensic Services Unit at PSP Franklin, which assisted in the processing of the stolen vehicle.
The victim is a 37-year-old Lucinda woman.
This investigation is ongoing.
