Two Escape Injury in Irwin Township Crash

IRWIN TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Two people escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident on Old Route 8 in Irwin Township.

State police said the accident happened on Sept. 26 around 11:59 a.m. when a vehicle operated by 61-year-old Mark E. Hoffman, of Harrisville, proceeded through the intersection of Old Route 8 and Georgetown Road and into the path of a vehicle operated by 50-year-old James A. Miller of Utica.

The right front side of Miller’s vehicle subsequently collided with left rear side of Hoffman’s vehicle.

Both drivers escaped injury in the crash.

Hoffman was cited for not stopping at a stop sign.
