VENUS, Pa. (EYT) – Two people escaped injury in a two-vehicle accident in the Venus area on Wednesday night.

Franklin-based state police said 57-year-old David M. Nerti, of Wampum, Pa., was traveling on east on SR-157 near County Line Road around 7:33 p.m. when 50-year-old Earl Weaver, of Fryburg, attempted to make a left turn onto SR-157.

Police said Nerti’s vehicle subsequently struck Weaver’s vehicle.

Both drivers escaped injury in the accident.

Police said Weaver was cited with a traffic violation.
