Two Juveniles Arrested for Burglary at Area Elementary School
MEADVILLE, Pa. – Two juvenile males from Meadville have been arrested in connection with a burglary at an area elementary school, according to a report released by the Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident occurred at Neason Hill Elementary School in Meadville, Crawford County, between the hours of 11:00 PM on November 17, 2023, and 8:00 AM on November 18, 2023. The juveniles, ages 12 and 13, reportedly forced entry into the school through a side door.
While inside the school, the juveniles allegedly vandalized a stairwell area by breaking and throwing eggs. They also pilfered items from a table set up for a raffle associated with the school’s yearly quilt show.
Among the stolen items were a red Meadville sweatshirt, a red Meadville Bulldogs hat, lavender bath salts, an organic lavender deodorant, a clear plastic water bottle, a tan and brown blanket, a grey and white snowflake blanket, a black weave basket, a fire starter kit, and several gift cards of varying amounts. A $50 bill was also taken.
The stolen items have since been recovered and returned to the Neason Hill PTO.
Charges against the two juvenile males are pending through Juvenile Probation.
