CHERRYTREE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 7:40 a.m. on July 29, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Cherrytree Road, at its intersection with Buxton Road, in Cherrytree Township, Venango County.

According to police, 38-year-old Heidi S. Marvin, of Hydetown, and 40-year-old Keith L. Dosch, of Titusville, were involved in the collision.

This crash occurred as Marvin was stopped at a posted stop sign on Cherrytree Road and entered Buxton Road, failing to see Dosch traveling east, police say.

Marvin’s 2014 Nissan Sentra SR struck Dosch’s 2011 GMC Sierra in the side, according to police.

Both drivers were using seat belts, and no injuries were reported.

Marvin was charged with a traffic violation.

Cherrytree Volunteer Fire Department and Emergacare assisted at the scene.
