United Way’s Learning Hubs Available in Venango County to Assist With Remote Learning

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — United Way’s Learning Hubs are available to assist students and parents who are struggling with remote learning.

These hubs are intended to be utilized for educational purposes only.

Masks are required while in attendance and materials needed to complete assignments should be sent with the students.

Current Learning Hubs in Venango County:

  • Cranberry School District (open December 21): Next Step Therapy, 145 Steffee Boulevard, Seneca. Phone: 677-1390. Open 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Emlenton Area (open January 4): Boys & Girls Club, 513 Hill Street, Emlenton. Phone: 724-867-3122. Open 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Franklin School District (open now): Youth Alternatives, First Presbyterian Church, 1250 Elk Street, Franklin. Phone: 346-0188. Open 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Oil City School District (open now): Youth Alternatives, 1 Graff Street, Oil City. Phone: 676-5785. Open 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Valley Grove School District (open December 21): Youth Alternatives, 39 Parker Avenue, Franklin. Phone: 676-5785. Open 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please contact your local Learning Hub for more details and to schedule a designated time for drop-off.

All hubs are free to families and will be funded by the United Way of Venango County.
