Vehicle Crashes into Tree off Route 66; Passenger Injured

HOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Marienville-based State Police, around 10:27 a.m. on January 18, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 66, in Howe Township, Forest County.

Police say 59-year-old Linda M. Faulstick, of Coudersport, was traveling north on SR 66. She lost control of her 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and struck a tree east of the roadway, causing disabling damage to the vehicle.

Faulstick was using a seat belt and was not injured.

A passenger in her vehicle, 66-year-old Sharen Kottwitz, of Shinglehouse, suffered moderate injuries. She was using a seat belt.

Clarion Hospital EMS transported her to Kane Hospital.

Faulstick was charged with a traffic violation.
