Vehicle Slams into Tree; Cooperstown Woman Escapes Injuries

PLUM TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police have released the details of a recent crash where a vehicle slammed into a tree in Plum Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, the accident happened around 7:00 a.m. on April 30 on Davis Road, in Plum Township, Venango County.

Police say 54-year-old Tracy V. Frankenberger, of Cooperstown, was operating a 2006 Toyota Matrix traveling east on Davis Road when she became distracted, and the vehicle went off the roadway. The vehicle then struck a tree and came to a final rest.

Frankenberger was not injured. She was not using a seat belt.

She was cited for a traffic violation.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Minich’s Towing.
