FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — The Venango County Fair continues today, Thursday, August 11, with the Cornhole Contest, Barnyard Olympics, and much more at the county fairgrounds in Franklin.

The fair runs through Sunday, August 14.

There is something for everyone at the fair — from livestock to musical entertainment to demolition derbies and more!

The cost is $7.00 for fair entry, $5.00 for grandstands, and $10.00 for a Pit Pass.

Thursday, August 11

Throughout the Day — Knapping (arrowhead making)
10 a.m. — Open Game Horse Show – Kiwanis Bowl
10 a.m. — Open & 4-H Dairy Cattle Show – Phillips Arena
11 a.m. — Barnyard Olympics- Frog Jumping Contest – Scrubgrass Stage
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Gameland open
2 p.m. — Barnyard Olympics- Eggcellent Adventure, Scrubgrass Stage
3 p.m. — RC Cars
6 p.m. — Garden Tractor Pulls- Grandstand
6 p.m. — Cornhole Contest – sponsored by 4-H Teen Council – Phillips Arena
6 p.m. — Showman Band- Scrubgrass Stage
11 p.m. — Fair Closes

Friday, August 12

Throughout the Day — Knapping (arrowhead making), Clown & Face painting
9 a.m. — Senior Livestock Showmanship Contest – Phillips Arena
11 a.m. — Barnyard Olympics – Nail Driving Contest- Scrubgrass Stage
1 p.m. — Barnyard Olympics- Pie Eating Contest – Log Cabin
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Gameland open
6:00 p.m. — Jr Livestock and Cheese Yield Auction – Phillips Arena
11 p.m. — Fair Closes
