Warren Man Accused of Rape, Faces 41 Charges

PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Warren-based State Police say a 66-year-old Warren man has been accused of Rape and other related charges in Pleasant Township, Warren County.

According to police, an investigation was conducted into sexual assaults on a female victim from 1976 to 2003.

Police say as a result of the investigation, Charles Leroy Gisselbrecht, III, of Warren, was charged and an arrest warrant was obtained.

Gisselbrecht was located at his residence, taken into custody, and then transported to Magisterial District Judge Carlson’s office.

A preliminary arraignment was held on September 3, and Gisselbrecht faces the following charges:

5 counts of IDSI (Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse) Forcible Compulsion, Felony 1
10 counts of IDSI Victim Less Than 16 Years Old, Felony 1
4 counts of Sexual Assault, Felony 2
3 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault W/O Consent, Felony 2
3 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault — Forcible Compulsion, Felony 2
3 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault — Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old, Felony 2
3 counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault — Comp. Less Than 16, Felony 2
1 count of Incest, Felony 2
2 counts of Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age, Misdemeanor 1
2 counts of Indecent Assault-W/O Consent of Other, Misdemeanor 2
2 counts of Indecent Assault Forcible Compulsion, Misdemeanor 2
1 count of Indecent Exposure, Misdemeanor 2
1 count of Indecent Assault Person Less 16 Yrs Age, Misdemeanor 3

Unable to post $200,000.00 bail, he was committed to the Warren County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on September 9 in front of Magisterial District Judge Glenn S. Carlson.
