CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, an assault occurred at UPMC Northwest ICU Unit, on Fairfield Drive, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say around 9:30 p.m. on July 9, a known perpetrator physically assaulted a 32-year-old woman during a stay at UPMC Northwest ICU Unit.

The name of the perpetrator was not released.
